I’m an Associate Professor at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria of Politecnico di Milano. I received an M.S. in Telecommunication Engineering and a Ph.D. in Information Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2005 and 2009, respectively.
I work on networking topics, my main research activities include radio resource management and optimization in wireless networks, softwarized and programmable networks, and smart radio environments. I served as an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (2020-2023) and I’m currently serving as an Editor of Computer Networks (Elsevier).
My coauthors and I received the Best Paper Award at the IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor, and Mobile Radio Communications, IEEE PIMRC 2025 and the Runner-up Best Paper Award at the IEEE Mediterranean Communication and Computer Networking Conference, IEEE MedComNet 2020. Additionally, I was a Distinguished Member of the Technical Program Committee for IEEE INFOCOM in 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023.
